An Accounts Receivable Specialist plays a very important role in our company. The Accounts Receivable Specialist is the point person in our Accounts Receivable Department for clients and is responsible for assisting the client with their account, payments, invoicing, and past due amounts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (included but not limited to):

  • Delivering exceptional customer service to Wesley Financial Group clients.
  • Calling clients to collect on past due balances that fall within the AR Specialist assigned list.
  • Negotiating payment plans to keep client balances current and help them get back on track with payments.
  • Answering client calls from 800 numbers when they have questions about their statement or invoices.
  • Assisting other departments in answering questions related to balance owed, payments received, and general Client Financial Account questions.
  • Researching client accounts to help reconcile payments received versus what is still open.
  • Any other duties related to Accounts Receivable Specialist position as deemed necessary by the Director/Manager of Client Financial Accounts.

Preferred:

  • College degree 
  • Customer Service experience
  • Experience with Excel/Google Sheets/Gsuite
  • Experience with Netsuite
  • Experience in Salesforce

Requirements:

  • 1-5 years of experience as an AR Specialist/Collections Specialist doing consumer collections or comparable experience. 

● High school diploma
