When Sal and Vanessa were approached by timeshare salespeople, they were sold on the vacation dream that was presented to them. Little did they know, this dream wouldn't come true but instead turn into a nightmare. Below is a written account from them on their timeshare experience and what they had to do to get out of it. Names of people and places have been changed or redacted for privacy reasons.
“I remember, we were pressured constantly by multiple salespeople to purchase a timeshare. They gave us a gift card for attending their presentation, but they kept us there for an extended amount of time against our wishes. We were lied to about the true costs of our timeshare and our maintenance fees increased every year, which the salespeople said would not happen.”
Timeshare salespeople are very deceptive and can make you believe that a timeshare will deliver you countless dream vacations. When in fact, many owners are unable to even use their own timeshare due to a lack of availability at their resorts along with added costs.
“We could never get a vacation booked because the dates or locations we wanted were never available. When we would voice our concerns about this to the timeshare company, they coerced us into attending another presentation, this time about an upgrade. Over the next couple of years, they scammed us into several upgrades. None of which ever helped us use our timeshare, but only made it more expensive.”
These timeshare properties are supposed to be a money-saving route for vacationing, right? Well when you consider all the extra fees they have along with the prices increasing yearly, you realize it’s actually a money pit.
“It saddened me to realize how much money we put into our timeshare, and all for nothing. All that money could have greatly benefited our family. Once I realized there was a risk our timeshare and its fees could potentially be passed down to our children one day, I knew my husband and I needed to make a change.”
Sal and Vanessa grew tired of draining their financial resources for something that brought no benefit to them or their family. They called us at Wesley Financial Group, LLC with a fair amount of debt added up, and needed help quickly. Once they qualified for our termination services, it was not long before they were out of their timeshare agreement and relieved of $26,000 in mortgage debt.* With their money back in their own pockets, they can now properly plan for their family’s future.
If you know anyone with a similar timeshare experience, please feel free to pass our phone number along to them. We’d love to see if they qualify for our timeshare termination services.
