Sean & Julia Were Told Countless Lies By Timeshare Salespeople

Timeshare salespeople made everything out to look like it was an amazing deal for Sean and Julia, but their timeshare never lived up to it. This couple was constantly having trouble with booking vacations and the point system but could never receive legitimate help from the resort.

Below is a written account from Sean and Julia on the terrible experience they had with their timeshare and how they came into contact with Wesley Financial Group, LLC to get out of it. Names of people and places have been changed or redacted for privacy reasons.

“We only ever went to the timeshare sales meeting because we were offered a discounted vacation stay at the resort if we attended. It ended up lasting for over five hours and as we later found out, was mostly filled with lies. The points system was very confusing from the beginning and they used this lack of knowledge against us. We were promised to receive free bonus points if we purchased that day, which we did but we never got those points.”

When timeshare owners are having trouble using their property, some salespeople will see this as a weakness that they can profit off of. Unfortunately, this is quite common in the timeshare industry and it makes owners feel as if they are trapped within their agreement.

“We ended up going to several other meetings to learn more about using our timeshare, and while they always offered free gifts, they were never beneficial to us but felt more like another sales pitch. At first, we tried purchasing more and moving up tiers in the points system but never to any avail.”

Sean and Julia were experiencing a problem that many timeshare owners go through, and that was the difficulty in booking vacations. The way timeshares are marketed, you would think they would be easier to use and not so costly for their clients.

“For the money we were spending every year, we could have gone on a number of great vacations. But because it was a timeshare, we were only able to take two vacations out of more than five years as owners. I had remembered seeing an ad online for Wesley Financial Group and thinking we could use their help, and so we gave them a shot and called.”

We understood how Sean and Julia felt after being taken advantage of by the timeshare industry and we were eager to help them. Within a year of contacting us, the couple was timeshare free with their agreement terminated and even relieved of $12,000 in mortgage debt.* We hope Sean and Julia avoid any other experiences like this one in the future.

If you know anyone with a similar timeshare experience, please feel free to pass our phone number along to them. We’d love to see if they qualify for our timeshare termination services.
