Chuck McDowell is the owner, founder, and CEO of Wesley Financial Group, LLC, an Inc. 500 company, which specializes in complete timeshare cancellation and timeshare debt elimination for individuals and families that have experienced fraud, misrepresentation, and/or lies during their timeshare sales presentations.
Although one of the pioneers of the timeshare cancellation industry, Chuck McDowell was a timeshare salesman before realizing the timeshare industry was not what he thought it was. After discovering the many deceitful tactics the timeshare industry uses on unsuspecting people, Chuck left the industry to work on the other side, fighting for consumer rights. He served as the CEO of a timeshare advocacy group before deciding to take timeshare cancellation into his own hands. Wanting to help good people get out of bad situations, Chuck founded Wesley Financial Group, LLC in 2011. Wesley Financial Group, LLC is dedicated to providing legitimate aid to those who feel helpless, and Chuck’s unique background acts as a special motivator to be honest and fair to those who so often feel cheated.
Wesley Financial Group’s name came from an influential man in Chuck’s life. As a boy, Chuck remembers reciting the quote below from John Wesley, the founder of the Methodist Church, at the start of Sunday School each week.
To date, Wesley Financial Group, LLC has helped over 40,000 families cancel their timeshares, relieved over $525 million of timeshare mortgage debt, and continues to help hundreds of more families each week.
Helping people is Chuck’s greatest passion. He has spent the last 30 years focusing on serving others and running his own businesses. Born and raised in Middle Tennessee, outside of Nashville, Chuck is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University. Chuck and his wife, Jo Ellen, live in Franklin, Tennessee, with their dogs, Bud and Ollie, and their cat, Bises. Chuck has two sons, Charles and Cameron, and a stepdaughter, Ferrell.
