Amy and Larry R.’s Fatigue Was Taken Advantage Of After A Long Travel Day

Amy and Larry’s timeshare nightmare started when they were taken advantage of after a long day of traveling. The following includes excerpts from Amy and Larry in regards to their timeshare experience. We hope their first-hand experience helps to shed light on a few of the ways the timeshare industry takes advantage of trusting clients. The names of people and organizations have been changed or omitted due to privacy concerns.

Amy and Larry had fun plans to take a vacation together. While their destination wasn’t nearby, they felt the long travel day ahead would be worth it once they finally got there. However, fatigue would set in; making them susceptible to timeshare pressure.

“We spent so many hours traveling that we were tired, and all we wanted to do was to start our vacation. We gave in because we figured that if we just agreed to the contract they would let us go. We were so tired and ready to leave that we didn't realize what a big mistake we made. It is way too expensive. They lied to us about all the gifts we would receive that - to this day - we still haven’t received.”

While Amy and Larry remember quite a few lies, one moment that sticks out is when information about points was left out of conversation.

“We even did not realize that the points are every two years instead of one year. They never told us that, and it made a huge difference in our ability to book. We also have not used it because they never have dates. We also feel that now we can’t afford it, because of the rising maintenance fees.”

Larry and Amy keep looking for a benefit of owning a timeshare, but it’s nearly impossible to find.

“There are no benefits at all.... they are getting money from us and we don't even get to use it.”

Wesley Financial Group, LLC is proud to announce that after Amy and Larry reached out to us,  we were able to terminate their timeshare agreement.* Now that this couple is timeshare free, they’re enjoying planning a vacation that doesn’t involve a long strenuous timeshare meeting.

If you know someone who could potentially use our services, pass along our phone number below. We would be more than happy to see if they qualify for our timeshare termination services.
