The Timeshare Classic Bait & Switch

Timeshare presentations are often the classic bait and switch. You may be on a vacation, walking down the boardwalk and all of a sudden a salesman is in your face offering you freebies if you attend his presentation. That is what happened to Ronald and Mary Ann P. Little did they know, they were entering into a potential scam that would leave them with heartache and a world of trouble.

Carried Luggage Up Three Flights Of Stairs At The Age Of 75, & Had No Hot Water For Three Days

Ronald and Mary attended the timeshare presentation, and although they had no intentions of purchasing a timeshare, ended up buying one after they were offered all kinds of free tickets and gifts.

When it came time to use their timeshare, they started realizing what a huge mistake they had made. They stayed at a few different resorts and each one had something wrong with it.

One of the worst experiences they had was at the last resort they stayed in before reaching out to us for help with cancellation. The resort they stayed at left them without hot water in their room for three and a half days. On top of that, they had to carry their luggage up three flights of stairs at the age of 75 and there was no employee at the resort to assist them. They were left with a key to the room and a phone number to call in case they needed anything. They called the number, which was supposed to be an emergency phone number, but their call was not returned for two days.

Ronald and Mary Ann Are Timeshare Free

Ronald and Mary Ann knew they had been lied to about the timeshare. They reached out to us for help in cancelling their timeshare, and we are happy to report that we were able to cancel their timeshare contract for them.
