Pam & John Didn’t Think They’d Fall for Another Timeshare Sales Pitch

When Pam and John first visited the resort where they were offered a discounted stay, they were sure they wouldn’t purchase anything presented to them due to the age and wear of the area of the resort they were housed in. However, the intense sales pressure would cause them to cave and upgrade their previous timeshare purchase.

The following is a written account of Pam and John’s experience during and after the intense upgrade timeshare sales presentation. We hope this story will shed some light on the very predatory nature of timeshare sales and its effects on everyday families. Names of people have been changed and/or redacted for privacy reasons.

“When we arrived at the resort, we were given a room in the older part of the property, not the newer facilities which we had bought into a few years ago. In the meeting, the supervisor revised numbers for our existing timeshare, saying it would be a beneficial down payment toward the new timeshare. On top of that, they offered us a bonus certificate to return within a few months to enjoy the newer facilities of the resort since our experience that weekend was not of a resort, but of a moderate hotel room.”

After exchanging their current timeshare and paying upgrade fees, Pam and John have not seen any benefits from those upgrades. They have also faced some serious health issues in their personal lives since buying into the timeshare, and so this also limits them on their availability for traveling.

“We’ve had tremendous difficulty arranging the use of the timeshare since we upgraded. As a matter of fact, we haven’t even been able to successfully use it yet!! We tried to swap our points for a cruise, but of course, there were no available cruise dates during the times we were available or physically up to travel.

We’ve had growing health issues every year since early 2018, and the idea of us ever being able to use this timeshare has pretty much diminished. Our enthusiasm is no longer there for traveling.”

After hearing an advertisement on the radio for Wesley Financial Group, LLC (“WFG”) and realizing that they are growing too ill to travel, Pam and John contacted us here at WFG. Thankfully, WFG has assisted the couple with successfully terminating their timeshare and they can now rest easy knowing they don’t have to make those outrageous payments anymore!*

If you or someone you know could potentially use our assistance here at WFG, pass along our phone number below. We would be more than happy to see if they qualify for our timeshare termination services!
