Thomas S. And His Wife Get Tricked Into More Meetings While On Vacation

Thomas and his wife love to travel. For them, traveling is a way to get away from the hustle and bustle of their everyday lives. After buying a timeshare, Thomas began to notice that everytime he and his wife were on vacation they were forced to attend more sales meetings. Fed up with the lies, Thomas knew he had to act quick.

Below is a first hand account of the timeshare disaster that Thomas experienced. We hope his experience will shed some light on the manipulative tactics the timeshare industry uses on honest and trustworthy people. The names of companies and people have been changed or redacted due to privacy reasons.

“I really began to notice a trend when the company we bought the timeshare from would contact us on every vacation telling us we had to attend another presentation. We were always told that these sessions would keep us up to date on the latest changes and additions to the facilities, but it always turned into a buy-more-credits sales pitch.”

Feeling pressured, Thomas and his wife continually told the sales team that they didn’t want to buy any more credits. It was hard enough already on the couple, they couldn’t even find availability to book weeks a lot of the time.

“It required long term planning to utilize most of the popular properties. It’s quite frustrating because the sales people made it seem as if we had a say in how things got booked, when in reality it was the complete opposite.”

Thomas knew he had to find a way out. One day when he was scrolling through social media, Thomas saw an advertisement for Wesley Financial Group, LLC. He immediately started doing his research.

“They (WFG) appeared to be the real deal and they were. I remember we watched the video on their website and it really gave us a lot of hope.”

Once Thomas contacted us, we were able to help assist him and his wife by completely terminating their timeshare contract.

“Everyone at Wesley Financial Group was very easy to work with. The agents were knowledgeable and responded quickly to our requests.Their professionalism and attitude towards getting the job done made it really easy to work with them.”

Now that they are completely free of a timeshare contract, Thomas and his wife look forward to traveling with friends, this time without any meetings or sessions.
