Antonia M. Grew Tired Of Wasting Her Money On A Useless Timeshare

Antonia M. was unknowingly pressured and manipulated into her timeshare. Over time she became fed up with not being able to vacation anywhere with it. Below is a first-hand account from Antonia on her dreadful experience with the timeshare industry and the tactics they used in deceiving her. Names of people and companies have been changed or omitted due to privacy concerns.

“They lied and pressured me into signing with them from the beginning. I was told I could travel anywhere in the world with my family, but when I tried to schedule vacations, I was told I didn’t have enough points to go anywhere. When we could finally use it, I had to settle for West Virginia since it was one of the only options available.”

Already feeling uneasy about this substantial investment, Antonia sought out a meeting while on this trip with the front office of her timeshare company to make a complaint.

“I was sent to the front office, but the only person I encountered there was another salesperson who kept telling me that I needed more points and it would fix everything. After hours, in the office, I ended up caving and upgrading for more points so I could stay at all the finest resorts in the world that the timeshare representative told me about.”

Even after making the very expensive upgrade they pushed on her, Antonia was still unable to schedule any vacations and began to realize how worthless and deceptive this whole point system was.

“I was still not able to go anywhere that I wanted as promised during the first presentation and also when I upgraded. Every time I tried, I was told I didn’t have enough points. They also said they would help me with using my points to defer maintenance fees so I’d never have to pay them. Later when I sought out this help, I was told the timeshare company has no way of doing that.”

Ready to officially move on from this personal and financial burden, Antonia knew it was time to start looking for a way out.

“I contacted the resort first to get out, but each time they either tried to upsell me again or laughed at me, while telling me there is no getting out. I’d say I had been trying for five years to cancel my timeshare with no luck until I was referred to WFG by my lawyer.”

After getting in touch with us, we were able to assist Antonia in terminating her timeshare and relieving her of $40,000 in timeshare mortgage debt.* Finally liberated from her timeshare debacle, Antonia now has more time and expenses for her family.

“I have been very pleased with the results from WFG and greatly appreciate how supportive they have been with me. I am looking forward to a life free of a timeshare again. You know, if you’re not paying for such extravagant fees and maintenance every month, you can actually afford to go places and vacation once in a while.”

If you know someone who could potentially use our services, please feel free to pass along our phone number below. We would be more than happy to see if they qualify for our timeshare termination services.
