Jose & Julianna P. Were Duped Into Upgrade After Upgrade By A Timeshare Company

Do you know what’s worse than a timeshare agreement? Try five of them! This is the timeshare nightmare that Jose and Julianna found themselves in after they were misled into countless upgrades. Below is a word-for-word account from the couple on their experiences with timeshare salespeople. We hope this will inform you of some of the deceitful acts that take place within this industry against innocent, unsuspecting people. Names have been changed or omitted due to privacy reasons.

“Back in 2007, my husband and I were offered a free three-day stay at a Las Vegas resort, and all that was required of us was to attend a short presentation. Or so we thought. We ended up being there for over two hours. It had an intense atmosphere with other sales going on around us and others celebrating whenever there was a purchase. New agents and managers would keep coming to us with better deals until we finally agreed to buy too.”

Timeshare sale presentations can be brutal and tiresome for most people. The sales agents use this to their advantage when trying to close a sale, never considering how it could impact the buyer’s life going forward.

“After our initial purchase, we were constantly asked to come to the yearly ownership update meetings. They would always offer a gift or incentive for attending, and so we went to several. They would always last over the promised time and always just ended up being another sales pitch.”

A timeshare upgrade is pitched as a solution to whatever problem you are experiencing as a timeshare owner. Well, they don’t actually fix anything. Instead, an upgrade is just another agreement being signed without any mention of the previous one. Rather than an upgrade on a current timeshare, it’s purchasing a whole new timeshare agreement along with it.

“Whether we were having issues with vacation availability or having a problem with our points system, the timeshare agents always encouraged us to upgrade. I never fully grasped the idea of what they were saying, but they always assured us our problems would be solved. Of course, it never fixed anything and we had to learn that lesson several times before finding help.”

When Jose and Julianna came to Wesley Financial Group, LLC (WFG) for our timeshare termination services, we listened to their story and could see the toll it had taken on the couple. After months of work with them, we were able to fully terminate all five of the timeshare agreements they got themselves tied up in and put an end to all their maintenance fees.*

“We are so grateful and appreciative of the help from WFG. We were afraid this timeshare trouble would follow us for the rest of our lives. We are now excited, once again, about what our future holds.”

If you know anyone in timeshare distress who could use our services, please pass along our phone number to them. We would be more than happy to see if they qualify for our timeshare termination services.
