Justin H. Had To Pay Maintenance Fees For A Timeshare He Wasn’t Able To Use

After over 20 years in the military Justin was made to believe that a timeshare was a good way to spend his retirement. It didn’t take long for the Army veteran to realize the type of disaster he had been subjected to. “The major pain point for us was the very expensive maintenance fees. But this is the kicker – we could only use the timeshare during odd numbered years, but we paid maintenance fees every year. Each year the fees would increase. We were under the impression that we would only have maintenance fees for the odd years that we used the timeshare, but that was not so. Another point where we were put over the edge was our resort. It was sold to us by the sales reps telling us about all these different activities, but the only thing you could really do there was golf and we’re not golfers.”
