Mike Thought A Timeshare Would Allow Him To Travel The Country For Hunting Trips

What started as an anniversary celebration for Tanya and Mike C., soon turned into a vacation nightmare for the couple. Hear their story below as they recount their terrible experiences with the timeshare industry and why they eventually reached out to Wesley Financial Group, LLC for assistance.

We hope you can take away something positive from their written account below. The names of people and places have been changed and/or redacted for privacy reasons.

“We took an anniversary trip to the Memphis Pyramid, and as we were at the Bass Pro Shop we were approached by a couple of salespeople. They offered us gift cards and an extra two-night stay at the pyramid so we could extend our trip at no cost. Seemed like a good idea and we didn’t think it could hurt so we accepted.”

While they thought this decision wouldn’t have a negative impact on their lives, Tanya and Mike had to learn about the consequences of a timeshare firsthand.

“There were two timeshare representatives we had to meet with in order to receive the gift cards and hotel discounts, which kept us busy for over three hours. They learned my husband was a big hunter so they really started emphasizing a hunter’s package they had at their timeshares and that’s the only reason we were even interested.”

Timeshare salespeople will find your weak points and use them against you in their sales presentations. The worst part, oftentimes many of these selling points are just fabricated lies that never come true.

“Well apparently not long after we purchased it, there was some sort of legal issue with the timeshare and the hunter’s package was no longer available. We were terribly disappointed and upset with how everything turned out.”

“The only reason we bought the timeshare was that my husband thought he would be able to travel the country going on hunting trips with our son. We tried talking with the timeshare company to get out of it but they were no help. We were paying a lot of money for it to not even be using it.”

Tanya and Mike thought they were stuck with this timeshare forever and began worrying that it could one day be left behind to their children. Not wanting the same burden to fall into their children’s hands, they decided to give us a call at Wesley Financial Group, LLC.

After they qualified for our termination services, we were able to help them reach their goal of getting out of their timeshare. Along with terminating their agreement, Tanya and Mike also saw $12,600 in timeshare mortgage debt fully eliminated.*

If you know anyone with a similar timeshare experience, please feel free to pass our phone number along to them. We’d love to see if they qualify for our timeshare termination services.
