The following is a word for word account given by Bruce B. Names of people and entities have been changed and/or removed for privacy reasons.

Bruce and his family loved to take regular vacations together. As a hard-working electrical engineer, Bruce was looking for “a reasonable vacation opportunity for [his] family for now and the future.”

When he approached the idea of a timeshare, he initially felt that this might be the best for his family. Now that he reflects on the timeshare sales presentation itself, Bruce sees some of the tactics used to convince him to purchase a timeshare “opportunity.”

“They never explained that we would have to pay maintenance fees and cleaning fees yearly, even though we never used it. They also made it sound like a great idea and never explained that [the fees] would continue for years and years after purchasing. They also told me that it was a great investment for the future and my family.”

A few years after his purchase, Bruce “tried to tell the timeshare company that we wanted out of the contract, but [the timeshare company] threatened our credit at that point if we weren’t going to pay for (sic),” he recalled. This is typical of timeshare companies and, unfortunately, something they are perfectly capable of doing to individuals that might have purchased a timeshare from them.

Bruce hadn’t really thought of any third party companies to assist him with getting out of his timeshare, but after hearing of a possible way to get out of the timeshare on a radio advertisement, he called us here at Wesley Financial Group, LLC. Now our team is hard at work in the process of terminating his timeshare.* If you know someone who could potentially use our services, pass along our phone number below. We would be more than happy to see if they qualify for our timeshare termination services.
