Grace H. Was Never Told Her Timeshare Would Be A Lifetime Purchase

After nearly 50 years of hard work in ministry, Grace and her husband decided vacationing would be a great way to help them relax. With this goal in mind, Grace was approached with the idea of a timeshare. Feeling pressured to say yes, Grace signed her timeshare agreement thinking she and her husband would now be able to travel to different resorts around the world. What she didn’t know was that the fees would sky rocket and the meetings would never end.

The following includes a first hand account from Grace in regards to she and her husband’s timeshare debacle. We hope these excerpts help showcase a few of the manipulative strategies that timeshare sales representatives use everyday. Names of people have been changed and/or redacted for privacy reasons

“My husband and I have been workaholics in ministry for 48 years and really thought the timeshare purchase would force us to take a vacation, which it did. However, we did not understand or take into account the pressure put upon us to take our vacation at a certain time or a certain place. We just wanted a time to rest, relax, and charge up again, but instead we got pressured into attending more sales meetings.”

Grace recalls there being a blurry line in terms of passing on her timeshare to her children. While it was presented as being a choice, she later found out her timeshare was going to be passed down whether she wanted it to or not.

“We were never told about the maintenance fees and just how high they could get. We also were told that we could pass our timeshare on to our estate, but were never told it was a lifetime purchase. They made it sound as though we had options, which was an outright lie. You do not have options as to keeping or not keeping it.”

When it came to benefits, the sales team explained to Grace and her husband that they could use their points for other vacations like cruises through the Caribbean.

“We were told we could take our points and travel using them, but the amount of points was never enough to do so. We tried to take a cruise on our points, which we were assured we could do, and when it came down to it we could not. We were told someone sold their timeshare the day we were in there and that is what we bought at a lower price. I know now, you do not sell your timeshare. It just doesn’t happen.”

It didn’t take long for Grace to start exploring a way out of this tangled mess she had been thrown into. She felt it was only right, especially after the pressure she and her husband had received to sign on their timeshare agreement.

“I looked for a few companies, but I was very hesitant to go through with it because I didn’t want someone to take my money and not be able to do anything for me. I think I was a bit hesitant because of what the timeshare company had already done to me.”

Then one day, Grace heard a radio advertisement for Wesley Financial Group, LLC (“WFG”). She decided to do some research and was very happy with what she found.

“I was impressed with the fact that I felt WFG was a company that was honest and had integrity. I sensed old fashion honesty and perhaps Godly principles.”

We are elated to report that after Grace signed on with our legitimate timeshare termination services, she is now timeshare free.*

“It was better than expected as the staff at WFG took all of the pressure off me. I had nothing to do, but get my documents in order and they did the rest. Before I started the process, I was worried and stressed about what I would have to be responsible for. The team at Wesley did all the work for me, and I cannot say enough of how grateful I am for that.”

Grace can’t wait to retire without having to worry about finances now that she’s timeshare free.

If you know someone who’s in timeshare distress and could use our legitimate services, pass along our phone number below. We would be more than happy to see if they qualify for our timeshare termination services.
