Unemployed Couple Struggles Amidst Rising Property Fees

When Brad and Beatrice got introduced to timeshares, they were not impressed. However, their views on this topic changed after several hours with timeshare brokers. It begins by offering prizes or perks to entice the potential buyer, then evolves into deception just to close the deal.

“We were offered a free stay at a new resort if we agreed to go to a timeshare presentation. The presentation took five hours, and within that time, we spoke with several sales agents. They boasted how great timeshares were and the best option for family vacations. We were under the impression that we would save hundreds of dollars. ”

Resort Threatens Collections

The first bump in the road was when the pair discovered that maintenance fees were charged every year, despite using the timeshare every other year. Then, these fees increased.

Indeed, timeshares are expensive. Brad and Beatrice did their best to cover the annual costs. Then the bottom fell out from under them.

“The timeshare was a bigger expense than we expected. We tried our best to stay afloat, but we lost our jobs, making that difficult. We thought the resort would be understanding of our inability to pay the monthly costs, but the representatives became rude and insensitive. They gave us an ultimatum, pay the dues or get sent to debt collectors.”

The Situation Worsened With the Covid-19 Pandemic

Brad and Beatrice avoided getting sent to collections and secured new employment. But that fearful moment was when they realized their timeshare contract could last for the rest of their lives. So with the Covid-19 pandemic, the pair was determined to do something about it.

“We got back on our feet, but, of course, the Covid-19 pandemic transpired and we got laid off. And even while the resorts shut down, they still charged monthly fees. That was the final straw.”

“I Plan Vacations With Less Stress”

After years at the behest of these resorts, Brad and Beatrice were determined to find a way out. While they looked for timeshare exit assistance, it was not until the couple came across Wesley Financial Group, LLC (WFG)*

“We hated the thought of our timeshare becoming our children’s burden one day. We talked to the resort about our financial issues, but they couldn’t have cared less. So I called a cancellation company I heard about on the radio. That was Wesley Financial Group.”

After working with WFG for 11 months, Brad and Beatrice were timeshare-free!*

“We are grateful to WFG! I was hesitant, but I trusted my instincts, and now we can move on from that terrible timeshare company. I would never recommend a timeshare.”

Does Brad and Beatrice’s story sound familiar? Thousands of unsuspecting people fall victim to the timeshare industry every year. If anyone you know is in a similar situation, please contact Wesley Financial Group, LLC, at the phone number below.
