Wyatt C. Was Told He Signed Up For A Vacation Resort, Not A Timeshare

When Wyatt’s wife was diagnosed with cancer, he couldn’t keep up with his increasingly high timeshare bills. That’s when he said, “Enough is enough” and started researching for a way out of his timeshare.

Below is a word for word account of the timeshare ordeal that Wyatt experienced. We hope his written account will enlighten some of the tactics that the timeshare industry often uses on good, unsuspecting people. Names of people have been changed and/or redacted for privacy reasons.

“My wife was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in July of 2019. At that time I was paying for both treatments and my timeshare at the same time. I couldn’t afford anything else. We didn’t have insurance, and so everything I had was going towards trying to save my wife.”

Heartbroken by the situation he was put in, Wyatt remembered back to his original sales meeting when the representative promised him a timeshare full of benefits.

“They told us that we could go anywhere in the world. Our salesman said we couldn't go on vacation until we got one with them. He also said that the deal on the table was only going to last for that day. If we came back any other time, we weren’t going to get as good of a rate. But the lies didn’t end there, he told us that what we were signing up for wasn’t a timeshare, it was a vacation resort where all we had to do was pay for our airfare.”

When Wyatt reached out to Wesley Financial Group, LLC (WFG), his contact information was passed on to Chuck McDowell, CEO of WFG. After a conversation with Chuck, the WFG staff got right to work with Wyatt to try and make light of his situation.

“Working with WFG was like working with family, they kept me updated and made personal calls to check on my wife. Their values make them the best in the industry.”

We are happy to announce that not only was our staff able to terminate Wyatt’s timeshare agreement, but they also helped relieve him of over $18,000 in timeshare mortgage debt.* While he’s had to deal with real tragedy, he no longer has to think about his timeshare ever again.

“Right now I’m just trying to make it through life. My wife’s passing has been really hard on me, but it is nice to know she’s not suffering anymore. The people at WFG provided a family for me. They made me feel like I wasn’t just a client in such a trying time.”

If you know someone who’s in timeshare distress and could use our legitimate services, pass along our phone number below. We would be more than happy to see if they qualify for our timeshare termination services.
