Doreen and her family admit their life isn’t full of glitz and glamour, but when they were tricked into a timeshare it seemed like the little financial capability they did have fully disappeared. The following includes excerpts from Doreen’s timeshare experience. We hope her written account helps to showcase a few of the concerning tactics the timeshare industry uses on a daily basis. The names of people and companies have been changed and/or removed for privacy reasons.
“We are just your average couple who wanted to be able to vacation with our children. We don't have a lot of money but are happy with who we are. We thought a timeshare would help us be able to vacation more often and we were wrong. The costs kept going up and we were not able to go to the places that we would like.”
When Doreen thinks back to the sales experience with her timeshare company, all she can remember is the constant pressure.
“They kept telling us the costs would not go up and that we could go anywhere we wanted to go. This is not to mention, the pressure to buy was constant and made us feel uneasy. Before you know it, we were hooked.”
It didn’t take long for Doreen and her family to realize that they had been duped into an agreement that didn’t meet their expectations.
“The dates we wanted were never available. Every time we went anywhere, we would have to listen to a sales pitch of some kind. When we would tell them that we didn't want to move forward, they would offer us to move in the way of gift cards. It was very frustrating.”
Having experienced numerous sales meetings on her vacations, Doreen began looking for a way to lose her timeshare in the dust. That’s when she found Wesley Financial Group, LLC (WFG).
“After we did a little research on the internet we found WFG. They were our first choice, and after seeing what others had said about them it was clear we made the right decision.”
We are proud to announce that Doreen is not only timeshare free now, but our team was also able to assist her in relieving over $30,000 in timeshare mortgage debt.*
“The customer service at WFG has really made the experience so much better. We are very satisfied with the Wesley team. They are all very nice people.”
Now that Doreen and her family are finally free of this financial burden, they can’t wait to start vacationing without the stress of sales meetings hanging over them.
Does Doreen’s nightmare sound oddly familiar? If you know someone who’s in timeshare distress and could use our legitimate services, pass along our phone number below. We would be more than happy to see if they qualify for our timeshare termination services.
