With a master's degree in psychology, Tyler considers himself to be pretty attentive to deceiving sales strategies. So when he realized he was tricked into his timeshare agreement, he felt immediate regret. Below is a word for word account of the timeshare ordeal that Tyler experienced. “I have owned my own consulting firm for the last 41 years. I consider myself bright and educated and can't believe I fell for the sales pitch and lies during our presentations. “My maintenance fee was $650 when I started. The sales lady talked us into buying more points to get a villa in Kauai. There was no mention of maintenance fees for this. Now, our yearly fees are $2,500. The final straw was with covid and there was no discount or waiver of fees even though we couldn't fly to Hawaii and most services were shut down.”
