Jackson and Rose S. Didn’t Want To Burden Their Kids With The Stress Of A Timeshare

Jackson and Rose were first introduced to the idea of timeshare when they stayed in a family member’s unit at a resort. On that same visit they were tricked into buying a timeshare of their own and have been trying to recover ever since.

The following includes excerpts from Jackson and Rose’s timeshare debacle. We hope their written account helps expose the backward tactics the timeshare industry uses on innocent clients everyday. The names of people and companies have been changed and/or redacted for privacy concerns.

“My brother and his family let us use their timeshare and we enjoyed the visit. We checked in and had to go to a two-hour meeting. We talked to several agents even after my wife and I said no. We kept telling them we couldn’t afford it at this time, but then another manager and supervisor came with more pressure. We finally gave in and signed the contract. It’s the biggest mistake we ever made leaving our children with a financial burden.”

Feeling immediate regret, Jackson and Rose were shocked when their first maintenance fee statement came in the mail the following December.

“The maintenance fees have been a struggle from the start. It’s a hurtful reminder every year at the end of the year. We were not able to go to our timeshare last year because the maintenance fee was not paid in full. We also had to pay a reservation fee. It was too much. My wife had a cut in pay one year, so that was just another problem on top of all the problems.”

As if the maintenance fees weren’t enough, the thought of their kids having to inherit such a financial nightmare was what really set Jackson to think about alternative solutions.

“We would be leaving our children in a financial situation that impacted them negatively. If we didn’t have this timeshare we could take more family vacations every year rather than one or two a year. The thought of no maintenance or reservations fees was what kept me focused. I had to find a way out.”

That’s when Jackson found Wesley Financial Group, LLC (WFG). He and his wife reached out to our team and were qualified for our legitimate timeshare termination services. We are pleased to inform you that now Jackson and Rose are now free of this financial burden.*

“We just can’t wait to vacation without the thought of having to attend any meetings or pay any extra fees. We’re finally free thanks to WFG!”
