Susan M. And Her Husband Lose Time And Money In Meeting After Meeting

Susan’s timeshare nightmare started when she and her husband were on vacation and were approached by a sales representative about attending a meeting. The incentive? A $100 gift card to a local restaurant, so long as the sales team could just take an hour of the couple’s time.

The following contains Susan’s written account of the lies she was told and how she managed to find her way out of her timeshare. Hopefully Susan’s experiences will showcase the type of dishonesty and manipulation the timeshare industry often uses on everyday folks. The names of people have been omitted for privacy reasons.

“What was supposed to be just a one-hour sales presentation turned into four hours of the same pitch over and over again. After they made everything sound great, we gave in and signed up, not knowing the lasting effect it would have on us and our family.”

The first red flag that triggered Susan and her husband was when every vacation they took involved another sales presentation.

“We rarely got to go where we wanted when we wanted. Every vacation included sitting through more sales meetings and they always tried to get us to upgrade. Being retired now, it was just too much to take. The sales people were all very pushy and at one point when we were in an office, we were surrounded by three people. Talk about pressure.”

Susan and her husband started to look for a light at the end of the tunnel. They couldn’t bear the idea that their children would some day inherit a timeshare with rising maintenance fees every year.

“To think that our kids would have to deal with something that we were tricked into buying was just not an option for us. We started to research for a way out.”

After scrolling down her social media one afternoon, Susan saw an advertisement for Wesley Financial Group, LLC and decided to pick up her phone and reach out.

“Finding Wesley and working with the nice people there made it so easy to get out of our timeshare. They are so understanding and made me feel at ease knowing I was finally getting out of this nightmare. I will never get suckered into one of these timeshares again.”

We are currently in the process of terminating Susan’s timeshare. If you know someone whose story sounds a lot like Susan’s, pass along our phone number below. We would be more than happy to see if they qualify for our timeshare termination services.
