At 84-Years-Old, Gary L. Can’t Afford A Timeshare With Hidden Fees

After his wife passed away, Gary tried to enjoy life as much as possible. But with a timeshare eating away at his finances, Gary only considers himself semi-retired. Below includes excerpts from Gary’s timeshare encounter as well as his experience working with Wesley Financial Group, LLC.

“I can barely remember the conversation with the sales representative because it went on for so long. I feel like before I knew it I had signed up for a timeshare without ever really being able to take a second and think through it.”

After obtaining the timeshare, Gary had issues trying to book reservations. Availability was the first red flag for the 84-year-old who loves to travel.

“I was only ever able to use it one time. You have to reserve so far in advance that your plans might change by the time it comes around. Also, the fees started to get so high that I began to think about how I could book a nice resort for the same price.”

Having looked for a way out of his timeshare for two to three years, Gary finally saw a commercial on T.V. for Wesley Financial Group, LLC.

“I felt skeptical at first, but the second I picked up the phone and started talking to their representatives, I felt confident this was the right thing to do.They were excellent and friendly and I felt like they had my back every step of the way. I am very satisfied with the service they’ve provided me.”

We are still in the process of terminating Gary’s timeshare, though we have already been able to relieve him of roughly $1,500 a year in maintenance fees.* Once he is finally free of his timeshare, Gary can’t wait to get back to travelling during his favorite time of the year.

“I love travelling in the summertime. But with COVID-19 and this timeshare, it’s made things really hard this year. So I look forward to next year when I can book a vacation free of all this financial stress.”
