Daniel B. Had No Idea Maintenance Fees Could Increase Year-To-Year

Once Daniel and his wife finally became empty-nesters, he figured they had extra time on their hands to vacation, so he was intrigued by the benefits that a timeshare offered. The following includes excerpts from Daniel’s timeshare fiasco. We hope his experiences help showcase a few of the unethical approaches timeshare salespeople often use on trusting clients. Names of people have been changed and/or redacted for privacy reasons.

“While working like we do in an 8-to-5 job our recreational time can only fit into a certain area of our life. We can only travel during certain times of the year due to my wife's work schedule revolving around the calendar school year. This was talked about by the timeshare company when we decided to give it a try. We were told we could pick anywhere we wanted, at any time and it would be great. We have had our timeshare for five years now and only once we were able to find where we wanted to go when we could go. Every time we looked – no matter what time of the year – they were always booked up. That being frustrating enough, when I called to complain, I was treated very disrespectfully and that was our final straw. They literally lied to us.”

Daniel was frustrated with the inability to book, but he hadn’t even received his maintenance fee invoice.

“The maintenance fee came as a shock to me because that was never discussed during the sales process. Especially the fact that it would go up by 10 percent each year. That’s when I really lost it. I had to get out of my timeshare immediately.”

After hearing a radio advertisement for Wesley Financial Group, LLC (WFG), Daniel immediately reached out over the phone. He then scheduled a free consultation where he found out more information. He was confident he came to the right place.

“It was mainly that WFG seemed to care about us and our situation and not just after our money. We felt at home and at peace with our decision. We were at the right place.”

We are happy to say that not only did our team liberate Daniel of his timeshare agreement but they also relieved him of over $18,000 in timeshare mortgage debt.*

“Our experience was great. We were honestly worried about the process of getting through this nightmare we got ourselves into, but with emails and conversations with the staff at Wesley Financial, we were put at ease and the process was much easier that we ever expected. I would highly recommend Wesley Financial Group if you are in the same situation as we were.”

Now that they’re timeshare free, Daniel and his wife look forward to spending their expendable income on remodelling their house.

If you know someone who’s in timeshare distress and could use our legitimate services, pass along our phone number below. We would be more than happy to see if they qualify for our timeshare termination services.
