Grandfather Loses $10,000 In a Scam

Chris M. is a 75-year-old with four grandchildren. Since retiring, Chris has enjoyed taking them on vacations. However, the last one soured the experience and prevented future trips.

“I took my family on what I thought was a harmless vacation. I attended a timeshare presentation at the request of the resort’s staff. They baited me into purchasing a timeshare after being pressured for hours. That haunted me for years to come.”

Timeshare vendors often prey on unsuspecting customers. That was the case for Chris, and as a result, he faced financial setbacks. Shady sales tactics such as this are common in the industry.

Deceiving with Gifts

“The only reason I went along with the presentation is they offered a gift card and free cruise tickets. If I had known how difficult it would’ve been to leave, I never would’ve gone. Now, the gift card I did receive, but those cruise tickets never came.”

The timeshare salespeople did not stop here. They cranked up the pressure by pushing Chris to make his decision because this “amazing deal” was only available today.

The True Cost Of Timeshares

Chris took the timeshare broker for his word but learned that the talk was worthless, just like his timeshare.

“The maintenance fees were endless! Nobody fully explained the financial aspects of the timeshare purchase to me, and everything was more expensive than advertised. I’ve lost close to $10,000 from this purchase and counting.”

Chris was in way over his head. But just as he lacked knowledge about the timeshare industry, he was just as unaware of the timeshare cancellations. It would not be long before being introduced to this new industry.

A Radio Ad Saves The Day

By chance, Chris heard a commercial discussing timeshare cancellation. The ad came from Wesley Financial Group, LLC (WFG).

“I was not looking for a way out of my timeshare other than negotiating with the timeshare company. That didn’t get me anywhere, but then I heard about WFG and called them right away.”

After qualifying for their expert services, it was only a few months before Chris was timeshare-free!*

“I appreciate how promptly WFG handled my situation. Their staff was professional and attentive. I’ll recommend them to everyone.”

Deception is common with timeshare vendors. For that reason, Wesley Financial Group, LLC is determined to help those who the industry has wronged. If you have been through a similar situation, please reach out today at the number below.
