With Mounting Health Concerns, Candace & Roland W. Could No Longer Pay For Their Timeshare

A family riddled with medical issues were in a horrendous situation when their money had to go towards a timeshare they never used, while it could have been beneficially used elsewhere. The following is a written account from Candace and Roland on how they were able to escape from their timeshare agreement and reach financial security. Names of people and places have been changed and/or redacted for privacy reasons.

Timeshare presentations can be brutal. But that’s the point. These salespeople want to wear you down mentally until you’re in a weakened state for decision making. That’s exactly how they were able to dupe this couple.

“We were visiting a resort because we were offered a free stay and we had not really been able to afford a vacation for some time. We were told all we had to do was attend a short presentation that would be no longer than 90 minutes. Well, we ended up having to listen to them for over five hours. The whole process was stressing me out, so we finally gave in because we were missing out on so much time to be with our children on vacation.”

The salespeople will harass you nonstop at these presentations to the point where you feel like you can’t escape them. Once they’ve made the sale, though, it can be quite difficult to get them to even lift a finger for you.

“So we got the timeshare, but we were never even able to use it! There were never any available times for us, and the phone representatives only wanted to sell us more when we would call for help. The stress of paying for something at such a high cost and not even being able to use it was getting to a breaking point for us.”

The thing is, these timeshare companies do not care about your personal financial situation so you should not seek any advice from them. Why pay for something you don’t even use? Especially, when that money could be helpful with something else.

“Along with it practically being useless for us already, our family was later hit with some extensive medical issues. Whether it was my wife’s neck surgery or our son who has had several brain surgeries at such a young age, funds were getting tighter and our timeshare was working against us. We didn't know what could be next, but knew we needed to be financially prepared, and as long as we were timeshare owners we knew that wouldn’t be possible.”

Candace & Roland found us at Wesley Financial Group, LLC (“WFG'') and we were delighted to be able to help. They are now officially timeshare-free and we were even able to assist them in relieving close to $30,000 in timeshare mortgage debt.* They can now invest their time and money somewhere more meaningful.

If you know someone who could use our services, please pass along our phone number located below. We would be more than happy to see if they qualify.
