Diamond Resorts International (DRI) is a vacation ownership company (similar to a destination club or a timeshare), allowing persons to purchase a real estate interest in 93 managed resorts and 236 affiliated resorts (many of them formerly owned by Sunterra resorts and timeshares) in 34 countries. In addition, four cruise itineraries are also available through DRI timeshare exchange. DRI global headquarters is located at 10600 W Charleston Blvd., Las Vegas, Nevada. It claims to be "one of the largest hospitality companies in the world". Presently DRI has more than 490,000 owners and members. The Founder and Chairman, Stephen J. Cloobeck, was featured in the season premiere of Undercover Boss (US) Season 4 on January 15, 2012. He was the first Chairman and CEO to go undercover a second time on November 30, 2012. Stephen J. Cloobeck was the founding Chairman of the Board of Brand USA, formerly the US Corporation for Travel Promotion. Stephen J. Cloobeck served on the board of directors for Nevada Cancer Institute from 2003-2009, and served as Chairman of the Board from 2009-2010.
